Disclosed is a method for recognizing a lane using a region of interest. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for recognizing a lane using a region of interest comprises the steps of: acquiring image information including the two lanes which are the left lane and the right lane; setting multiple regions of interest in the acquired image information to detect the edge of the two lanes; applying the Hough transformation to the edge of the two lanes detected for each of the multiple regions of interest to detect multiple straight lines corresponding to the edge; and using the multiple straight lines detected for each of the multiple regions of interest to recognize the border of the two lanes.
