The present invention relates to a full-duplex communication device and a control method thereof. The communication device includes: a transmission unit generating a pilot signal; a transmission antenna transmitting the pilot signal; a reception antenna which receives a first reception signal including a self-interference signal generated by the pilot signal; an estimation unit which uses the first reception signal to estimate parameters of a self-interference channel; a prediction unit which uses the estimated parameters of the self-interference channel to predict a self-interference signal for a data signal to be transmitted by the transmission unit; and a reception unit which receives the predicted self-interference signal. The reception antenna receives a second reception signal including the data signal and removes the self-interference from the second reception signal by using the predicted self-interference signal.
