According to the present invention, a seismic reinforcement device for a masonry wall seismically reinforces a masonry wall vertically constructed on a floor slab between two pillars vertically installed and separated from each other, and comprises: a wire mesh installed on a front surface of the masonry wall; a pair of elastic support units whose one ends are connected to upper corners of the wire mesh and whose the other ends are connected to upper ends of the two pillars to elastically support of an upper portion of the wire mesh; and one or more rotation fixing units to hinge-mount a lower end of the wire mesh and the floor slab on each other to rotatably fix a lower portion of the wire mesh. According to the seismic reinforcement device for the masonry wall in accordance with the present invention, a movement of each portion of the masonry wall with respect to a seismic load is considered to support and fix the upper and the lower portion of the wire mesh supporting the masonry wall by the elastic support units and the rotation fixing units, respectively, to provide the masonry wall with dynamic stability. Also, a structure of the device is simple to allow for convenient installation and reduce costs. |
