The equipment has a stopper (8) movably mounted relative to a dock nose (2) between a safety configuration and a loading/unloading configuration. The stopper is designed such that the stopper and a mobile transshipment gateway are moved independent to one another with respect to the dock nose. The stopper is arranged such that departure of a road vehicle allows a return of the stopper automatically into the safety configuration when transshipment operations are completed. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a secure loading/unloading system (2) a method for securing a dock (3) a method for loading/unloading of a road vehicle.
