PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve separability of a tip of a sheet from a photoreceptor drum and a sheet conveyance property between transfer and fixation at low cost.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes a sheet guide part 12 which is provided on a downstream side of a transfer roller 8 in a sheet conveyance direction, has an elongated shape along the width direction of a sheet P, and supports the sheet P separated from a photoreceptor drum 2 from the back surface of a toner image transfer surface of the sheet P. The sheet guide part 12 includes a sheet plate 13 and a rib 14. The sheet plate 13 has end parts on the upstream side in the sheet conveyance direction formed as a plurality of discharge needles 131 and has an inclination angle so that the surface thereof comes closer to the sheet P toward the downstream side in the sheet conveyance direction. The rib 14 is provided so as to protrude more toward the side of the sheet P to be conveyed than the surface of the sheet plate 13. A discharge device 15 applies a discharge bias to the sheet plate 13 to discharge the sheet P separated from the photoreceptor drum 2. |
