PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a glass substrate capable of reducing thermal shrinkage dispersion of glass substrates after heat treatment of a laminate of a plurality of the glass substrates.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a glass substrate includes a laminating step for sandwiching each of a plurality of glass substrates between sheets and laminating them in the thickness direction to form a laminate of glass substrates; and a heat treatment step for charging the laminate formed in the laminating step in a furnace and heating the atmosphere in the furnace by a heat source installed in the furnace to reduce thermal shrinkage of the glass substrates. In the heat treatment step, the laminate is heated while agitating the atmosphere so as to make thermal shrinkage of the glass substrates uniform. |
