PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter assembly on which a hemostatic seal is provided.SOLUTION: A catheter assembly comprises: a catheter hub (12) comprising a base end (20), a tip end (22), an inside cavity (24), and a catheter tube (14); a rigid actuator (16); a seal member (18); a nose (42); and a needle cannula (40) having an acute tip end (43). The acute tip end (43) is exposed on a tip end side of the catheter tube (14), the nose (42) has a recess part (97) on a tip end (96), and the recess part (97) defines an area capable of storing an expanded flap (84) therein. |
