PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing device capable of vertically moving a drawing tool by a single motor and applying writing pressure.SOLUTION: A drawing device comprises: a drawing tool (pen 71) for performing drawing to a drawing object surface; a carriage (pen carriage 72) for holding the drawing tool; and a drawing tool press mechanism (pen press mechanism 74) for pressing the drawing tool attached to the carriage so as to approach the drawing object surface when performing drawing, and bringing the drawing tool into contact with the drawing object surface. The drawing tool press mechanism comprises: an elastic member (plate spring 746) capable of elastically deforming; a motor 741 for pressing the drawing tool in a first direction by the elastic member; and a motor control part for controlling a rotation amount of the motor 741 according to height of a contact position where a tip end part contacts the drawing object surface. |
