PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner attachment structure of an automobile which can make an attachment point of an air cleaner approximate a gravity center line without the need for a large-sized high-rigidity bracket, and can suppress the vibration, torsion and displacement of the air cleaner caused by the rotation torque and vibration of an engine.SOLUTION: In an air cleaner attachment structure of an automobile, an engine 6 is mounted between left and right side members 2, 2 having bent parts 2c which extend to a vehicle fore-and-aft direction, and are bent to the inside of a vehicle width direction with a crank shaft oriented to the vehicle fore-and-aft direction, and an air cleaner 11 connected to the engine 6 is attached to a sideway of the side member 2 of either of the left and right side members. The bent part 2c is bent to a direction approximating a gravity center line L passing through a gravity center G of the air cleaner 11, and a front part of the air cleaner 11 is attached to the bent part 2c. |
