PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that enables, with due consideration for the timing of choice by a user as a user's favorite image, an image close to the favorite image to be supplied.SOLUTION: Characteristics of an image chosen as a favorite are analyzed, and characteristics consistent with the result of this analysis are acquired as conditions of favor. The acquired conditions of favor are stored in a favorite count table. Also, the points of time at which the conditions of favor were acquired are made available for management from period to period. The numbers of times storage into the favorite count table was made, period-to-period management was done and acquisition as conditions of favor are weighted period by period, and the number of credit points for each condition of favor is figured out. By using such credit points, characteristics of an image uploaded by the user are analyzed, and by using the number of credit points of the image matching the conditions, the image is rated by the number of credit points. |
