METHOD OF DRIVING DISPLAY PANEL AND DISPLAY APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING THE SAME

A method for driving a display panel comprises the following steps: generating a data signal having different numbers of a positive frame and a negative frame; and displaying an image based on the data signal. Accordingly, the numbers of the positive frame and the negative frame are controlled in a direction to offset a direct current (DC) bias generated in the display panel, thereby improving image sticking of a display device, and improving a display quality of the display panel.
