The present invention relates to an a function for automatically cutting off standby power and an outlet for cutting off standby power, allowing a user to manually switch when the automatic cutoff function is out of order or fails, thereby enabling the use of the outlet. The outlet of the present invention comprises: an upper body having a plug accommodation unit; a main body having a specific space formed by a lower body combined with the upper body; and a main control unit accommodated inside the main body and comprising a standby power cutoff circuit and a manual power supply circuit. A manual switch of which one side is exposed to the plug accommodation unit and which is moved by the user is further formed inside the main body to switch the manual power supply circuit on/off while being in directly contact with a manual switch terminal bar forming the manual power supply circuit, according to the moving position of the manual switch. A decoration panel to form the exterior is combined with the upper body and a display unit is further formed to check the power supply status when supplying commercial power through the at least standby power cutoff circuit or manual power supply circuit. According to the present invention, unnecessary operation is prevented by forming the manual switch in one side of the plug accommodation unit to prevent the manual switch from being exposed to the outside. Moreover, the switching of standby power is very easy and the safety can be guaranteed because a contact terminal is switched when a load is not applied, and the beauty of the outlet for cutting off standby power can be improved. |
