PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a picture quality degrades because a droplet speed drops due to pressure loss to cause displacement in hitting position when a discharge nozzle and a non-discharge nozzle adjoin each other.SOLUTION: Common drive waveform Vcom is a waveform including a minute drive pulse P0 which vibrates a meniscus without discharging a droplet in time series within a single drive cycle, and a discharge pulse P1 for discharging the droplet. The minute drive pulse P0 is arranged before the discharge pulse P1 in time series. A pulse interval between the minute drive pulse P0 and the discharge pulse P1 is set to be a time for resonance between a propagation vibration to an individual liquid chamber 106 that is applied with the discharge pulse P1 by the minute drive pulse P0 and a vibration individual liquid chamber 106 by the discharge pulse P1, based on a specific vibration cycle Tc of the individual liquid chamber 106. |
