PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a replacement frequency of a tool even if a point is worn out by scribing.SOLUTION: A plurality of notches 14-19 are provided on the outer periphery of a base 11 of a diamond tool 10, and an end part of each notch becomes a point. The diamond tool 10 scribes the point by bringing the point into contact with a substrate without rolling. When the point is worn out by scribing, an end part of another notch becomes the point of scribing by rotating the diamond tool 10. The plurality of points can be used in a single diamond tool, thereby reducing a replacement frequency. |
