PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which a wearer has a difficulty in identifying a central region and a rear region due to common embossed patterns formed in the central region and the rear region even if the central region and the rear region are divided by a joint groove which is deeper than the embossed patterns and has higher visibility.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises an absorber and a cover sheet disposed on a skin side of the absorber. Joint grooves for compressing and joining the cover sheet and the absorber in a thickness direction are formed. The joint grooves comprise a transverse groove which traverses the width direction center of the absorbent article in a width direction, and divides the absorbent article into a central region facing an excretion port and a rear region located on the rear side with respect to the central region. Embossed patterns shallower than the joint grooves are formed on the surface of the central region and the surface of the rear region. The embossed pattern in the central region is different from the embossed pattern in the rear region. |
