PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device, in a configuration in which a sheet is conveyed in a state of electrostatic attraction to a conveyance belt, capable of improving electrostatic attachment force of toner to the sheet, and also to provide an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A transfer device 35 includes: a conveyance belt 351 for conveying a sheet via a contact position 31A in contact with an image carrier 31; a transfer roller 352 on which a voltage of a reverse polarity to an electrification polarity of toner is applied and which transfers a toner image carried by the image carrier 31 to the sheet at the contact position 31A; a stretch roller 354 provided on a downstream side of the contact position 31A in a sheet conveyance direction 351A of the sheet conveyed by the conveyance belt 351 and stretching the conveyance belt 351 at a peeling position 351C where the sheet is peeled from the conveyance belt 351; and a guide member 355 which is provided at a position counter to the sheet conveyed from the stretch roller 354 to a fixation device and on which a voltage of a reverse polarity to the electrification polarity of the toner is applied. |
