PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road illumination lamp that has improved visibility of an obstacle and road surface luminance while efficiently irradiates light as compared with a conventional road illumination lamp.SOLUTION: A road illumination lamp 1 illuminates a road 100 from above on which a vehicle C travels in a predetermined traveling direction X. The road illumination lamp 1 is configured to irradiate light on a pro-beam side on the traveling direction X side more than a lamp position P, and on a counter-beam side opposite to the traveling direction X more than the lamp position P. Further, an amount of a counter-beam side light irradiated on a road surface of the counter-beam side is configured to be larger than an amount of the pro-beam side light irradiated on a road surface of the pro-beam side. |
