In two molds (11, 21) that are made to match a projecting section of a molded-article holding member (4), a first retaining surface (43) that faces the base part of the projecting section is formed in a concave mold (11) as a separation mold and retaining means (40A). A convex mold (21) is provided with a separation mold and retaining member (46) that comprises a second retaining surface (45) that faces the first retaining surface (43) and a separation mold biasing means (47) that guides the separation mold and retaining member (46) movably in the opening and closing directions of the die and steadily biases the separation mold and retaining member (46) toward the first retaining surface (43) side. The base part of the projecting section of the molded-article holding member (4) can be retained between the retaining surfaces (43, 45) by the separation mold and retaining means (40A) from a state in which both of the molds (11, 21) are completely closed through a state in which a cracking gap (CL) has been formed. Due to this configuration, it is possible to prevent burrs from occurring at the base part of the projecting section which projects laterally from a foam-molded body.
