The invention relates to a method for detecting defects of a winding (1) of an electric machine, having the following steps: a) supplying a first voltage pulse (2), which switches between a voltage U0 and a voltage U1, to a first end (24) of the winding (1); b) receiving a reference voltage curve (11), which has the first voltage pulse and the first voltage pulse reflected back by the winding (1), at the first end (24) of the winding (1); c) supplying a second voltage pulse (2), which switches between the voltage U0 and the voltage U1, to the first end (24) of the winding (1); d) receiving a voltage curve (12), which has the second voltage pulse (2) and the second voltage pulse (2) reflected back by the winding (1,) at the first end (24) of the winding (1); and e) comparing the voltage curve (12) with the reference voltage curve (11). |
