Use of aerosolized levofloxacin for treating cystic fibrosis

The invention relates to methods for treating cystic fibrosis comprising administering to a human in need thereof an aerosol solution comprising levofloxacin of ofloxacin and a divalent or trivalent cation. The invention relates in particular to administering the aerosol solution to a human wherein said human has a pulmonary infection comprising P. aeruginosa.
