<p>A tensioner 100 comprising a base 1 and a shaft 2 connected to the base 1. The tensioner 100 also comprises an eccentric adjuster 8 engaged with the shaft 2, an 5 arm 6 pivotally engaged with the shaft 2, a pulley 7 journaled to the arm 6, and a torsion spring 3 engaged between the arm 6 and the base 1. The tensioner 100 further includes a first damping member 13 and a second damping member 9 cooperatively connected to each other so as to allow a relative axial movement between them, a compressive member 5 disposed between and urging apart the 10 first damping member and the second damping member, and the first damping member and the second damping member disposed between the base 1 and the arm 6.</p> |
