PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inkjet recording paper which, when printed with nonaqueous ink, not only provides high printing density and prevents permeation thereof through paper, but also exhibits excellent dryability and fixability of the ink.SOLUTION: The inkjet recording paper for nonaqueous ink contains a vinylpyrrolidone-vinyl acetate copolymer which permeated into cavities of the paper and has (Gurley air permeability)/(paper thickness) of 0.1 s/μm or more and 5.0 s/μm r less. Also, a nonaqueous inkjet printing method performs printing by providing a surface of paper to be printed with a pretreatment of permeating a pretreatment liquid and thereafter discharging nonaqueous ink containing at least a coloring material and a solvent onto the surface to be printed. The pretreatment liquid contains a vinylpyrrolidone-vinyl acetate copolymer, the vinylpyrrolidone-vinyl acetate copolymer is permeated into cavities of the paper by the pretreatment, and (Gurley air permeability)/(paper thickness) is adjusted to 0.1 s/μm or more and 5.0 s/μm or less for the paper to be used as the recording paper. |
