PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain calculation accuracy of temperature in an inside cavity of a tire, and reduce model creation time.SOLUTION: Provided is a simulation method for calculating temperature in a tire inside cavity 10 surrounded by a tire 2 and a rim 14 during tire traveling, by using a computer 1. The simulation method comprises: a step S1 for inputting a tire model 16 formed by modeling the tire 2 to the computer 1; a step S4 for setting a boundary condition of the tire model 16; a heat generation amount calculation step S72 in which the computer 1 calculates a heat generation amount of the tire model 16 during traveling; a heat release amount calculation step S73 for calculating a heat release amount of the tire model 16 during traveling; a tire inside cavity surface temperature calculation step S8 for calculating temperature of a tire inside cavity surface 23 of the tire model 16 on the basis of the heat generation amount and heat release amount; and a tire inside cavity temperature calculation step S9 for calculating temperature of a tire inside cavity 10 on the basis of temperature of the tire inside cavity surface 23. |
