PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalyst composite according to iron oxyhydroxide and a production method thereof that reduces the recombination of electrons and holes, and exhibits a high photocatalytic activity.SOLUTION: Provided is a photocatalyst composite having a structure in which the iron oxyhydroxide particles are bound to the surface and inside of copper oxide particles. Said photocatalyst composite can be produced by depositing copper oxide particles in an iron oxyhydroxide particle fluid dispersion.
