PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and an image data transmission system that can display the size of a file of image data converted on the basis of information set before transmission of the file of the image data.SOLUTION: When display of a file in image data transmission information is set to ON, an image forming apparatus converts image data into a base image having the highest resolution in step S104, converts the image data converted into the base image into one having a set resolution and color mode in step S106, creates a file in a set file format in step S107, displays the size of the file of the image data in step S108, when the setting is changed in step S109, extracts the image data transmission information in step S110, extracts the image data of the base image in step S111, and returns to step S106. When an OK button is pointed in step S114, the image forming apparatus transmits the file of the image data in step S115. |
