POWER SPLIT TYPE CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power split type continuously variable transmission capable of supplying much more lubricant to a member requiring supply of the lubricant in each of a continuously variable transmission mode and a power split mode, while reducing the number of distribution passages for distributing the lubricant to each part.SOLUTION: A second opposite portion 69 of a ring gear 27 is opposed to an inner peripheral portion 61 of a carrier 25 from one side in an axial direction. One side and the other side in the axial direction of the ring gear 27 are respectively provided with a left-side flow channel 76 and a right-side flow channel 72. The lubricant is supplied to the right-side flow channel 72 and the left-side flow channel 76. One side in the axial direction, of the ring gear 27 is provided with a high brake 23 for braking/releasing the ring gear 27. Gear teeth 73 of the ring gear 27 are inclined so as to generate thrust load in a direction to separate the second opposite portion 69 from the inner peripheral portion 61 of the carrier 25 in a split mode.
