Disclosed in embodiments of the present invention are a polymer electrolyte compound comprising a crosslinking functional group and a pyridine-containing functional group, and a manufacturing method thereof. Also, disclosed are a polymer electrolyte membrane and an electrochemical device using the same. The polymer electrolyte membrane made of the polymer electrolyte compound has a phosphate absorption rate and ion conductivity of the same level with a polymer electrolyte membrane having long-term durability and made of pyridine-containing polymer compound.
