PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a section insulator which can facilitate replacement work of a section and reduce work time greatly.SOLUTION: A section insulator used in a dead section part for connecting end parts of two trolley wires, which receive power from different power systems, with an insulator is provided with: a bar-like section body 11 connected to the end parts of the opposing trolley wires through connecting fittings; body covers 13A, 13B mounted to the section body so as to cover at least the bottom face of the section body; and bolts 14 for detachably attaching the body covers to the section body. |
