PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a droplet discharge device capable of uniformly removing a droplet from a droplet discharge surface.SOLUTION: A droplet discharge device includes a recording head 30 in which a discharge opening 31 contains discharge surfaces 33 arrayed in a plurality of numbers, a compressed fluid jetting part 110 containing a jetting opening 117 for jetting a compressed fluid whose Reynolds number is 4 or less to a droplet discharge surface from an inclination direction across a surface direction of the droplet discharge surface, a compressed fluid supply part which supplies the compressed fluid to the compressed fluid jetting part, a moving means 150 for relatively moving any one of a discharge head and the compressed fluid jetting part along the droplet discharge surface, and a control part for controlling driving of the moving means. The control part controls driving of the moving means so that the compressed fluid jetting part moves relative to the discharge surface when jetting a jetting opening compressed fluid. |
