PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of foul smell in bioremediation for purifying oil-containing soil by microorganisms.SOLUTION: An apparatus 1 for purifying soil includes a vinyl house 2, an air supply system 3, a drainage system 4, an exhaust system 5 and a water supply system 6. A mound of the microorganism-introduced oil-containing soil S is surrounded by the vinyl house 2. Air is supplied to the oil-containing soil S in the vinyl house 2 from the air supply system 3. Gas in the space R of the vinyl house 2 is discharged to the outside by the exhaust system 5. An adsorption column 5c is connected to the exhaust system 5 so that foul smell substances in the gas in the space R of the vinyl house 2 are adsorbed and then the residual gas is discharged to the outside of the vinyl house 2. As a result, the problem of foul smell in the bioremediation for purifying the soil can be solved. |
