PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic power generation device.SOLUTION: In the hydraulic power generation device, mainly, waterworks are installed while being inclined and at an upper side of the waterworks, a plurality of water turbines are installed. At a lower side of the waterworks, water storage parts are provided at positions corresponding to the water turbines and at positions corresponding to the water storage parts in the waterworks, suction ports and drain ports are provided and communicated to water guide spaces of the water storage parts, respectively. Thus, in the case where any water turbine or a generator connected to a water turbine is damaged, a plug part covering the suction port and the drain port of the damaged water turbine is opened, water within the waterworks is made flow to the suction port of the damaged water turbine, drained from the drain port to the waterworks via the water guide space, and a rear-side water turbine is rotated. Thus, at a place where the water turbine of the waterworks is damaged, passage of a water current is stopped and it is not necessary to stop operating the entire hydraulic power generation device, such that the damaged water turbine or generator can be safely and easily maintained while keeping normal power generation efficiency. |
