The present invention relates to a liquid crystal panel, a liquid crystal display device, and a method for driving the same, which can improve a display quality by changing common voltage and gamma voltage according to a driving time interval. The liquid crystal display device of the present invention includes a timing controller, a voltage generation unit, a data driver, and a liquid panel. The timing controller may generate a voltage control signal for switching an initial state to a stable state using a predetermined switching time point. The voltage generation unit may receive the voltage control signal, supply first gamma voltage and first common voltage during the initial state, and supply second gamma voltage and second common voltage during the stable state. The data driver may receive the first gamma voltage during the initial state and receive the second gamma voltage during the stable state. Further, the liquid crystal panel may suppress a short-term afterimage when the first gamma voltage and the first common voltage are applied, and suppress a long-term afterimage when the second gamma voltage and the second common voltage are applied. |
