PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus capable of preventing erroneous detection of sensor output due to AC line noise generated in a power supply line for supplying electric power to a heater.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus is an image forming apparatus 100 that comprises: a transportation switch 4 serving as a sensor; a control unit 1 for performing control on the basis of detection signals output from the transportation switch 4; a cassette heater 163; a power supply circuit 5 for supplying electric power to the cassette heater 163; a noise detection line 60 running parallel to a power supply line 50 from the electric power circuit 5 to the cassette heater 163; and a noise determination unit 6 for detecting AC line noise transmitted from the power supply line 50 to a noise detection line 60. The control unit 1 invalidates the detection signals output from the transportation switch 4 during an invalid period that is set in advance, on the basis of a timing when the noise determination unit 6 has detected the AC line noise. |
