PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film capacitor capable of preventing contact between a metal case and a lead terminal while reducing increase of equivalent series resistance.SOLUTION: The film capacitor includes: two capacitor elements 1 which are formed in a cylindrical shape by winding a metalized film and both end faces of which are provided with metallikon electrodes 2; a cylindrical metal case with bottom 3 storing the two capacitor elements 1 which are overlapped with each other in a winding axis direction; and lead terminal plates 4 which are connected to metallikon electrodes 2 respectively, and which are bent and led to the opening side of the metal case 3. An insulation resin reinforcement member 5 is provided between the metal case and the vicinity of a bent part of the lead terminal plates 4 which are led to the opening side of the metal case 3 to thereby prevent contact of the lead terminals 4 and the metal case 3. |
