The present invention aims to provide a method and device for controlling one or more information source devices connected to a video display device. Specifically, a video control device obtains remote control code information submitted by a remote control device, determines from the plurality of information source devices a target information source device corresponding to the remote control code information, and transmits to the target information source device the control instruction information corresponding to the remote control code information. Compared to the prior art, the present invention enables a plurality of information source devices to share a remote control device, reducing the usage cost of the remote control device, improving interaction experience of a user, and accordingly improving the video watching experience of the user. |
