PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking aid apparatus enabling a safety use.SOLUTION: The walking aid apparatus includes: a foldable base body; driving wheels provided on the base body for moving the base body; a drive part for driving the driving wheels; a folding detection part 15 for detecting whether or not the base body is in a folded state; and a control part for controlling the drive part. When the folding detection part 15 detects that the base body is in the folded state, the control part controls the drive part to change the driving force to the driving wheels into brake force. |
