PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell separation filter with improved recovery efficiency of a cell and a cell separation method capable of efficiently recovering a target cell by using the cell separation filter.SOLUTION: A filter has a container filled with a cell separation material, and comprises a liquid introduction port either on an upper part or a lower part of the container, and a liquid outlet port on the opposite side, in which projected parts projected at least in one direction of a liquid introduction port side or a liquid outlet port side are formed on a surface of the filled cell separation material, and a ratio between a maximum value (mm) and a minimum value (mm) of thickness of the cell separation material (maximum value of thickness of cell separation material/minimum value of thickness of cell separation material) is adjusted to fall between 1.08 and 1.51. |
