A portable light (10) comprises: a light body (20, 30, 40) extending from a light head (40), one or more light sources (50, 60, 180) supported by the light head (40) and energizable to produce light, and one or more switches (124, 126, 150, 160) for selectively energizing the light sources (50, 60,180). In one embodiment, the one or more switches (124, 126, 150, 160) are at substantially diametrically opposite locations on the light body (20, 30, 40), and plural light emitting sources (50, 60) and/or a light emitting source (50) and a laser light source (180) may be provided. In another embodiment, the light body (20, 30, 40) defines an envelope line extending along a side thereof and has a recess (28) inward of the envelope line. A clip (80) may be configured to be disposed substantially in the recess (28) of the light body (20, 30, 40) and within the envelope line of the light body (20, 30, 40). |
