The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a citrus extract having high content of nobiletin or tangeretin and, more particularly, to a manufacturing method and a use of an extract having high content of nobiletin or tangeretin compared to conventional methods by cleansing citrus fruits with an alkaline solution and extracting a recovery product with an aqueous alcohol solution. According to the present invention, a citrus extract with high content of nobiletin or tangeretin is obtained through a simple method at low costs. Provided are a composition and a pharmaceutical composition containing a citrus extract having high content of nobiletin or tangeretin as active ingredient and having high marketability, with effects of improving memory, preventing dementia, preventing carcinogenic activity, preventing inflammatory activity, alleviating atopic dermatitis, alleviating itching, preventing obesity, alleviating diseases related to lipid metabolism, alleviating periodontitis, alleviating diseases related to bone metabolism such as osteoporosis, and alleviating fatty liver. |
