PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make content, such as documents, stored on the client terminal side in diverse forms, irreproducible at an appropriate timing, thereby reduce the risk of information leaking or the like so as to ensure security, and secure conservation of the content.SOLUTION: In a content management system constituted of a content management server 10 and a client terminal 20 connected to the content management server 10 via a communication network 5, the content management server 10 transmits to the client terminal 20 a request for deleting a management server ID specifying the content management server 10 and content; the client terminal 20 receives from the content management server 10 a request for deleting the management server ID and content and determines whether or not the received management server ID is the same as the management server ID stored on the client terminal 20 side and, if it is, content matching the deletion request stored on the client terminal 20 side in a removable medium 40 or elsewhere is deleted. |
