PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail guard capable of reducing a flying distance in an outside-of-track direction of an obstacle to be removed.SOLUTION: A rail guard 1 is to remove an obstacle on a rail 2 of a railway, and includes a rail guard part 11 and a support part 12. The rail guard part 11 is to be hit against the obstacle on the rail 2. The support part 12 supports the rail guard part 11 on a carriage. The rail guard part 11 is provided at a position deviated to a track center side (-Y direction) above a rail head 21. Thus, part of kinetic energy imparted to the removed obstacle turns into rotary motion energy, thereby reducing translation motion energy. |
