PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welder capable of adjusting an output set value of a current for welding even if a rotary encoder for detecting rotational displacement of a current adjustment knob is damaged.SOLUTION: A welder comprises: a rotary encoder 3 for detecting rotational displacement of a current adjustment knob 31; a current set value adjustment part 110 for adjusting an output set value of a current for welding; a current increase signal generation part 111 for generating a current increase signal based on depressing operation of a current increase key 22a; a current decrease signal generation part 112 for generating a current decrease signal based on depressing operation of a current decrease key 22b; and a rotational displacement conversion part 114 for converting a variation amount of rotation angles into a first adjustment amount of the output set value at a conversion rate corresponding to a small section to which a current output set value belongs. The current set value adjustment part 110 adjusts the output set value on the basis of the current increase signal, the current decrease signal, and the first adjustment amount. |
