METHOD FOR PREPARING ACTIVE CALCIUM SILICATE

A method for preparing active calcium silicate, which comprises: mixing lime milk, a pulverized coal ash desilication liquid and a particle size control agent for reacting to obtain an active calcium silicate slurry, wherein the particle size control agent is one of pyrophosphate, metaphosphate, polyphosphate, polyacrylic ester and polyacrylate; the amount of pyrophosphate, metaphosphate or polyphosphate added is 0.2-2.5% of the dry weight of the pulverized coal ash desilication liquid and lime milk, and the amount of polyacrylic ester or polyacrylate added is 0.05-0.5% of the dry weight of the pulverized coal ash desilication liquid and lime milk. The preparation method is capable of effectively reducing large particles in the active calcium silicate and reducing the influence on the papermaking process and the quality of paper products.
