The present invention addresses the problem of providing a wiring device wherein a device body is not susceptible to distortion even if stress is applied. A wiring device (A1) of the present invention is provided with a device body (3) that houses one or a plurality of switches. The device body (3) is provided with a body (1) and a cover (2), which engage with each other. The body (1) and the cover (2) are provided with a first engaging section (31) and a second engaging section (32). The first engaging section (31) engages the body (1) and the cover (2) with each other at both device body (3) ends in the first direction (longitudinal direction) of the device body. The second engaging section (32) engages the body (1) and the cover (2) with each other at both device body (3) ends in the second direction (lateral direction) that is different from the first direction. |
