The invention relates to pizzas and other products made from flour and yeast dough with a coloured topping, and to the preparation and application method. The topping (2) comprises a cheese that has undergone a dyeing or painting process involving the addition of a food dye formed from natural or synthetic dyes in liquid, pasty or powder form, appropriately diluted and duly combined. The quantity of the resulting dye to be applied is between 0.1 ml and 20 ml. in liquid state for 100 g of cheese. The resulting dye is applied to the cheese using dyeing techniques (immersion) or painting techniques (spraying, sprinkling with or without air, or using various application means). The dyed or painted cheese is applied to the product in order to obtain the coloured topping (2) either by means of mechanical or manual direct application, or using at least one mould, template or similar (3) with at least one hollow cavity (4) and using a mechanical or manual application technique. |
