Disclosed is an air-lift pumping device for a fluid container, which is intended to address the problem of decreasing efficiency of the pumping device when the liquid level in the container is low in the prior art. For this purpose, the air-lift pumping device comprises an air compressor and a standpipe assembly (15, 17), wherein the standpipe assembly is disposed in a fluid container (11), and the air compressor is in communication with the standpipe assembly for delivering the compressed air to the standpipe assembly so that same flows upward through the standpipe assembly together with the fluid in the fluid container. The pumping device is characterized by further comprising a caving cavity (18) downwardly extending from the inner bottom surface of the fluid container, wherein the caving cavity is disposed between the air compressor and the standpipe assembly and is in communication with the air compressor and the standpipe assembly. Due to the disposal of the caving cavity downwardly extending from the bottom surface of the container, the immersion rate of the pumping device can be significantly improved, thus greatly improving the pumping efficiency of the pumping device under a variety of liquid levels. |
