PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to produce a woody board improving strength and dimensional stability, especially the dimensional stability of a surface direction of the board for a water content change, assuming adding polyvalent carboxylic acid to a wood raw material.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a woody board includes at least: a step of heating wood shaving pieces under atmosphere containing moisture, and defibrating the heated wood shaving pieces to wet process fiber; a step of applying polyvalent carboxylic acid to surface of the defibrated wet process fiber by spreading water solution dissolving the polyvalent carboxylic acid or water solution dissolving polyvalent carboxylic acid anhydride to the defibrated wet process fiber; and a step of forming the woody board by pressurizing and heating the wet process fiber applied the polyvalent carboxylic acid. |
