PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an isobutylene copolymer that readily undergoes a crosslinking reaction with an unsaturated rubber such as SBR to significantly improve the grip properties of a tire comprising a SBR rubber composition.SOLUTION: An isobutylene copolymer having a monomer unit represented by the formula (4) is obtained by the copolymerization of isobutylene and limonene as a comonomer.
