PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage-like polysiloxane compound of an unconventional novel structure that excels at various physical properties such as heat resistance and dispersibility and a production method thereof, and provide a polysiloxane-containing inorganic composition comprising the cage-like polysiloxane compound and a laminar inorganic compound.SOLUTION: A polysiloxane compound has a polysiloxane skeleton of a cage-like structure and also has a hydrophobic group-containing amide structure in a side chain.
