PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce dispersion of thermal shrinkage among glass substrates.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a glass substrate includes a step for sandwiching each of a plurality of glass substrates between sheets and laminating them in the thickness direction to form a laminate of the glass substrates and a heat treatment step for reducing thermal shrinkage of the glass substrates by heat treatment of the laminate. In the step for forming the laminate, hot plates are selectively inserted between one end and the other end in the thickness direction of the laminate. In the heat treatment step, the heat distribution among a plurality of the glass substrates is adjusted to be uniform by the hot plates. |
